Thursday
Today the piano movers came to take the piano to my sister's home. It stopped raining just in time for the move. The rest of the day flew by. E. stopped over for a short visit. I managed to make a few phone calls and to send a couple of emails. Tonight I need to pay bills for the new month. I may knit for awhile after that is done. I may also read for awhile. I have no idea what's on the tv.

Lunch With Friends
Today I had lunch with two former colleagues. We went to a sort of "new" restaurant nearby. I had been there once before on my birthday when my sister treated me to lunch. I had a very nice salad with shrimp. The food was good and so was the conversation. I hadn't seen one of the gals for awhile. It was nice to see her and know that she is doing well while she's being treated for breast cancer.

Busy, Busy, Busy
Today was a very busy day. It started with a meeting this morning. After the meeting I had some fun. We played Mah Jongg for a few hours at a friend's house. I got lucky and won the first 2 games. The first game was even a closed hand. After leaving MJ I went home and grabbed something for supper and headed out to the PSM meeting. It was a very fulfilling meeting. D. even brought apple crisp and vanilla ice cream so we could celebrate our one year anniversary.

The Wheels Of Progress
What a day! We had to reschedule the dryer vent cleaning at Mom's. E. worked in the loft and packed my car with more art supplies. Where am I going to put them? That's my problem. If my back weren't "killing" me I'd start moving the things into the art/craft room, but until it stops hurting, they'll be keeping me company in the LR/DR area. Oh! for some relief from the pain. If it were only to be able to remove the boxes and put them away out of sight. I'm also looking forward to packing up some books and donating them to a library or to another charity. I will give away the bookcase as well, and a desk and 2 wing chairs. I just have to find someone to come and pick the stuff up. The thing is that the wheels of progress turn slowly and I'm in more of a hurry than that.

Sunday Style
This morning I went to mass. I came home afterwards and put on my casual clothes and headed for the craft store. I bought 2 very small cavases, 2 tiny tubes of paint, one is yellow ochre and the other is ultramarine blue. They were $5 each. I know where I can get a much bigger tube of those colors for about the same price which is why I went small. I am just a student so I don't need the best oils that they have out there, student grade is fine with me. I had planned to go to look at an item I'm thinking of buying, but I have something else that I need to do today. E. and I are headed back to the shore. We can't leave until the Open House is over. I'm hoping and praying that we get a buyer or an offer today. We'll see eventually.

Let's Close This Chapter
E. and I went down the shore today. I drove down but my back was killing me. When we got there I couldn't do very much. We did manage to take 10 boxes of books to the library today. E. cleaned out what was left in Mom's closet. She brought a few things back that she wanted. Tomorrow there will be an Open House. I pray, Dear St. Joseph, that we get a buyer to make an offer on the house. I'd really like to close that chapter of our lives. Now that I'm home, I'm resting. My back feels better. The ride home wasn't as bad as the ride down. I'll probably read or knit tonight or maybe I'll do a little of each. In any event, I hope that the night doesn't fly by. I'd like to feel that I've had some time for myself today.

One Opinion
Well, I tuned into "Blue Bloods" with Tom Selleck. It was probably a good show but I didn't like the story line because an 8 yr old little girl was abducted. I don't like stories like that, they're too sad usually. So, I'm back to listening to Light Classical music on the tube. What we need is a good entertaining variety show with real people who can really sing or play an instrument beautifully. How about a Celine Dion TV special or a Cher special (we haven't seen her in ages performing on the tube) Whatever happened to Julio Iglessias? or Jack Jones (remember him)? How about Vic Damone? or Michael Buble? Harry Connick Jr.? When will the adoring public get tired of reality shows? Soon, I hope. They're not entertainment as far as I'm concerned. The cop and law and medical stories are okay, but it's the same old, same old with them, too. We need some variety. Whatever happened to music, song and dance? How about a show like that for the Christmas season? Remember Andy Williams and Perry Como? I know that I'm showing my age, but I'm tired of the "same old", "same old" stuff on tv year after year. Give us a break won't you? All the young people are probably out and about having a good time. We seniors are left at home with nothing to watch. That's one opinion for what it's worth.
A Perfect Friday
Today was our first Quilt Guild meeting for the new year. We did not have a program after the meeting so after coffee and... I went home.
My new yarn arrived today. It's beautiful in lemonade, spring green, Fl green and lavender sachet. I plan to make Prayer Shawls from all of those colors eventually. I'm currently working on something, but can't wait to get to the lemonade colored yarn. I saw someone at the PS retreat using that yarn and it was so pretty. So, hopefully, it'll be done sometime before the spring along with the spring green colored one.
I spent part of the afternoon researching an activity for our red hat group. The plans for that aren't definite yet. I"m hoping that we can do the activity in December, weather permitting. Tomorrow E. and I are going down the shore. There's going to be an Open House on Sunday. I hope that the rain holds off this time. Sunday is church, and then I have plans to visit a store that I was invited to visit in Lawrenceville. When I get home I'll have to go to the craft store with my 40% off coupon to get some things for the art class.
Tonight I'm going to watch a new tv show staring Tom Selleck. I use to watch him in Magnum PI many years ago. This new one looks good, too. I'll knit while I'm watching it.
I'll probably read until it's time for that show. I'm reading "The Devil In The White City" on my Kindle. One reason that I like the Kindle is that I can make the writing larger so that it's easier on my aging eyes. I hope that reading doesn't put me to sleep tonight. That's so annoying. I guess that remains to be seen.

Simple Pleasures
There's so much one could do with ones time if one so desired. I read for awhile on my Kindle until I felt my eyes getting heavy. Not wanting to go to sleep while I am reading, I decided to get back on the computer. The Light Classical station is on in the background. It's beautiful music. I have an iced tea with lemon on the table to my right. It continues to be a refreshing beverage even into September. I know that if I pick up my knitting, I'll get sleepy again as well. However, I am going to knit while I watch the new season of two shows that were recommended to me by a friend who just called. If the knitting makes my eyes sleepy, I'll put it down for awhile and then try again. Here's to a great evening of entertainment. Knitting , television, reading and anything else that transpires will add to the pleasure of the evening.
Being The Student Today
Today I went to my first art lesson. What an experience! Instead of drawing what you see, you start by putting in all the darks first. After the darks are in you go lighter. My canvas was too large for trying this technique for the first time. I'll bring the painting next week also, but the paint has to dry before I can add more color. Next week the teacher is going to use a setup/still life for us to paint. I'm bringing a smaller canvas. It won't be as overwhelming. However, I will also work on today's painting next week also. I have a couple of tubes of paint to purchase. I need an ultramarine blue and an ochre yellow (I'm told that that's a favorite of the teacher). I also need some turponoid. I'm hoping that they sell that in small amounts. I have a coupon which is good on Sunday. I guess that that's the day I'll go to the store. Also I have a chance to look through Mom's paint supplies before Sunday. Maybe I'll find what I need among her things. Wouldn't that be nice? I think so. The class was a five hour class. We did break for lunch for about 15 minutes. That was all that I needed. Some of the students took a longer break. There are only 8 of us in the class which is good because we were given individual attention. I have a long way to go with this painting method but I'm still game.

A Return To Summer Weather
Today I stayed in all day. I got some things done which I needed to accomplish. The AC was on and did cool off the house for it was 90 degrees in our neck of the woods.
My new Kindle arrived last night. It works much better than the one I sent back. It's a bit strange to be reading on it, but I suppose I'll get use to it.
Tomorrow I have an all day oil painting class. I will bring something to snack on and some water to drink. I'm hoping that I can sit at a table because I have a table easel. Mom has a floor easel with a paintbox attached. If necessary, I'll use hers for the next class if that is what's required.
On Friday, the Quilt Guild meets for the first time this year. I do plan to attend that meeting. I have to start thinking about what I'll take to work on when we go on our Quild Retreat. There are 2 projects which I've started which I can bring and I may bring the black and white log cabin quilt kit to cut out when I'm there. That is a good idea because there won't be any cats to interfere with the cutting. If it turns out well, I may give it away as a gift. That is yet to be determined. Hopefully, I can finish the blocks for E's quilt. I may be able to give it this Christmas as a present. The other quilt is a Stack N Whack which I'd like to put together in the blocks stage, at least. I'm looking forward to the weekend. I may donate a bottle of wine this year, and some pretzels to snack on. I hope that I can accomplish as much as I have planned. I haven't quilted or sewed blocks in so long. It's about time to get back to it.

"A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood"
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. I have both doors opened and am enjoying the fresh air. I did manage to sign up for 2 art classes with the artist who did the demo at last night's meeting. One will start this Thursday and will run for 7 weeks. The other is a one day workshop which will be in October. On Thursdays I'll be dabbling in oil. In October I'll have my first experience with pastels. I'm psyched!! I've been on a natural high all day so far. I know that Mom is looking down with a smile on her face. I'm trying to carry on the tradition.
Our PSM meeting for tonight has been cancelled. E. cancelled out for our "work" day at Mom's for tomorrow. Thursday, like I stated before, is the art class, and Friday is the Quilt Guild meeting. I'm hoping that I don't have to take notes at the meeting. I've been asked to do so if the new secretary doesn't attend. Taking notes is not the hard part, typing up the minutes for the newsletter is a bore.
I'm meeting a friend after work later this afternoon. It will be a short visit as I have so much to do at home. Short visits are better than none, however.

A Void
At the meeting tonight, the President of the club announced that there were two deaths since they last met. When she mentioned my mother's name I got a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. I hadn't had a reaction like that before. I guess that in a way it isn't real to me yet. I've been so busy with everything. When she mentioned it, it seemed "real". I feel like Mom's been with me through this whole time since the funeral. I know she was with me tonight, and probably smiling down from above because I joined the art club she loved. I still have the weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. I keep busy during the day so it's not been too hard. Last night, I was all alone and began to feel the absence of two of my family members. D. had been so much a part of my life and of course, Mom had been a huge part of my life also. In the past, if I was lonely, or wanted to talk to someone, who do you think I called? Yes, Mom was the recepient of the phone call. Last night I was sitting here thinking, OK, now what do I do? So, what did I do? I went to bed. I dreamed about Mom's death and that maybe she really wasn't dead at all. Her spirit lives on and she lives in my memories of her. I guess this is going to take some time. There is a void there. The evenings are the hardest.
Something New And Exciting
It was a very exciting evening for me. I went to the RVAA meeting at the town library. They had an artist doing a demo. She worked first in acrylic and finished the picture in oils. I was so inspired that I bought her book and am thinking of taking a class from her. I loved her technique using acrylic and oils. Actually, I put acrylic on my canvas before I painted my rose in oils so I'm hooked. This artist teaches in all mediums. I'm going to take an all day pastels class from her because I have a pastel set and would like to learn how to paint in pastels as well. Her oil class has already started so I may not be able to join her for that class. Maybe the next session?
I know that I have a lot of activities and a few memberships in clubs, but this particular club was the art club that my mother belonged to for many years. I know one person in particular in the club so I don't feel like a stranger. I also think that Mom would be happy that I'm carrying on the tradition since she is the one who encouraged me to start painting. It took almost an entire lifetime to convince me, but I'm on my way now.

A Good Sunday
Happy Birthday to E.
Today was an uneventful day. The cats and I caught up on some much needed sleep. Right now I'm watching Celtic Thunder on PBS. I love their voices. They're also very nice to look at. They're singing "Take Me Home" at the moment. This show is called, "It's Entertainment".
Later this evening I'll knit a few rows. I'm hoping that they'll be a mystery on Masterpiece Classics tonight. I'll continue to knit as I watch that show. Since I've used today as a day of rest, I'll be ready to get back to work in the house tomorrow.

Relaxing After Working
As I was relaxing this evening, I took time to knit a couple of rows and also to write out some thank you cards. I got 14 thank you notes written. I'm hoping to finish the rest on Sunday, after church. I'll go to the 8:30 am mass, hopefully. I will finish the LR after the thank you notes are done. In order to get the LR done, I'm going to have to go through the boxes I brought back from Mom's. That will be time consuming, but I'll be so glad when it's done and I don't have to look at boxes all over the place. When the "public" rooms are in order, I can get back to the bedroom. Since I washed the quilt, I've put it back on the bed and replaced all the pillows in shams. It looks nice. Dusting and vacuuming are next. The bedroom will have to wait until another day, however, because when the LR/DR are done, I intend to knit for awhile.
A Productive Morning
It's only 11:40 am and I've gotten so much done today already. I started the day by going to the laundramat at 6:30 to do the bathmats and a quilt for my bed. After leaving there I did some grocery shopping. I came home and unloaded the food items and put them away. I then went to Home Depot to buy a lantern for outside my front door. It looks like the one which is hanging there now, but it has a sensor on it so when someone approaches it, it will turn on and stay lit for 10 minutes. This is just what I need in case I forget to turn on the outside light when I'm leaving the house. I also bought a sensor to put in the patio light in the back of the house. It will stay lit from dusk until dawn. I've gotten the "snail" mail out of the mailbox and opened that, then I checked email. I made a list of things that I want to accomplish in the next few days. I've been checking each item off as I do it. Since it's early yet, I hope to get some more done in the way of cleaning the house. I went to bed late last night and was awakened in the middle of the night by you know who, yes, Sandy. As I'm sitting here typing and listening to Easy Listening music, I feel like I could drift off to sleep at any moment. I'm really in a relaxation mode. Maybe I should put some peppier music on, like Solid Gold Oldies. We'll see. I won't let myself nap for more than an hour. I'll pop-up after that an continue my chores.

Can You Tell One From The Other?
This evening I've switched music channels on the tv. I listened to Solid Gold Oldies all day because the music kept me moving. Right now I'm listening to a contemporary channel. I must say that I don't "get" some of the latest music. It all sounds so much alike to me. I can't tell one tune from another without seeing the titles. I guess I'm getting old!
Big Plans For Saturday
Spent most of the afternoon cleaning. I'm not done with what I'd like to get done and will continue to clean until I am.
Tomorrow I'll start on 2 closets. I'm also going to go out to see if I can get a new light for outside my door. Mine has seen better days. I hope to walk for awhile tomorrow morning before I start the chores of the day. If I can fit it in, I'll go to a laundramat to wash bathmats and a quilt for my bed. I hope that I can accomplish all that I have planned for the day. I guess I'd better get an early start. It would be nice to end the day with something which is "fun". Time will tell.

A Peaceful Day With Friends
This morning I went to a friend's home where several of us gathered to quilt or sew. In my case, knitting was the craft and another gal was crocheting a baby blanket. It was a nice quiet, peaceful day. I left for home at about 2:00pm. Shortly after being home and sitting in the recliner, I fell asleep. I napped for one hour. I feel more refreshed now and have done 2 loads of laundry.
Last night I got to sleep late because at about 10:30pm I got a surge of energy and started cleaning. I did the dishes and put some items away. I also changed the shower curtain in the bathroom. I was wide awake until about 2:00 am this morning when I decided to lie on the couch and finally fell asleep until 6:00 am. I expect another surge of energy this evening. I haven't planned which cleaning activity I'll engage in, but I know I'll get something else done. Maybe I'll report in later.

Overwhelmed
I was able to get some business taken care of today. My only trip out of the house was to go to the post office to mail prayer books to a sick friend. I also made necessary phone calls.
The house still looks like a cyclone went through it. I'm overwhelmed. I don't know where to start so I just don't start. What I need is a good night's sleep with no interruptions from the cats. Maybe then I'll have the energy and stamina I'll need to get the job done. Tomorrow I'm going to a friend's home for awhile. Some of us will be doing our quilting projects. Since I haven't started to quilt anything yet, I'll be working on a prayer shawl for the PSM. I need time to visit with friends. That may refresh me. Perhaps.

Disappointed
The item I received in the mail today has to be returned. I ordered the wrong item. I'm so disappointed, but I'm placing a new order and getting the correct item. What is it you ask? It's an electronic reader. I wanted the item I could use anywhere in the world but ordered the other item. So, back it goes for a refund. I was assured that the books I've ordered will be on my new device when I receive it. That was a relief to know! I was afraid that I'd have to reorder them.
I went to the doctor's office today and got a good report. In a couple of months I'll get some routine tests and then see the doctor again in 6 months.
After the doctor's visit, I went to the PSM meeting. We have a new member. I never met her until our DOM meeting when I encouraged her to join us. It turns out that we both taught school for the same district but our paths never crossed before. She's going to be a nice addition to our small group. Next week she and I will learn how to crochet. One of our fellow members is going to teach us. I look forward to learning that new (to me) craft.

Back Home Again
This morning I went down to the shore. I just got back again about a half hour ago. We accomplished more today.
Tomorrow I have a doctor appointment and the PSM. I look forward to the latter. The day went very quickly because we were so busy. I look forward to relaxing with my knitting later. On Thursday I'm going to spend the day with the quilters and quilt all day at a friend's home. On Friday there's nothing on my calendar so far. That looks good to me.

The Picnic
Well, wouldn't you know? It did rain. The picnic was inside. I had a nice time talking to a few people I knew. I'm glad that I went inspite of the rain.
I read at mass this morning. That about sums up my day.
Right now I'm washing the dishes in the dishwasher and listening to classical music. Sandy and Coco are no where in sight. I look at my place and can see that there is much to do but I don't have the energy or the desire to do it now. To quote Scarlette O'Hara, "Tomorrow is another day." Or, "I'll do that tomorrow".

Family Reunion
Today was our 3rd family reunion. It ended up being mostly our cousins with just 2 from the next generation. We had a nice time at P. & L.'s. There was so much food and beautiful desserts. My cheesecake was a hit. I brought home an empty dish.
Tomorrow is another busy day. First, church attendance in the morning, then the Parish Picnic in the afternoon. I'm hoping that it's not too hot, but I don't want it to rain until after the picnic is over. I hope that a good time is had by all, including me.

A Late Day In The Kitchen
We accomplished a lot today!!! I'm relieved! There's more to do, but we've made a dent in the armour.
There's two things left to do yet. One is to make cole slaw and the second is to make a cheesecake. Unfortunately, it's already after 9:00pm. The slaw will be quick, it's the cheesecake which will require time and attention. I'm wishing that I had made it this morning.

A Lovely Evening
The Daughters of Mary met tonight after attending a Healing Mass. The service was beautiful. I did the 2 readings for the mass. The PSM brought up some of the shawls we've made and they were blessed. I met a new member to the DOM tonight and she is joining the PSM as well. It was a lovely evening.
Tomorrow I have to get all the bags and boxes out early for the charity which is picking them up. I hope that I get all the stuff out on time. After the pickup I need to get a couple of items from the grocery store because I'm attending a family reunion on Saturday afternoon and I promised to bring a special salad and to make a cheesecake as well. I'll make the 2 items later in the day tomorrow, but I want to be prepared. On Sunday I read again at the 8:30 am mass and in the afternoon is the Parish Family picnic. It's going to be a full weekend. I'm looking forward to it.

A Busy Wednesday
Today I got a mani and a pedi. I thought I'd treat myself for the last time this summer. I also did a bit of grocery shopping and made copies of an important document at Staples. I've checked mail, both "e" and snail. I sent some greeting cards for several different occasions. I started going through the kitchen cabinets to see what I want to donate to the charity which is coming on Friday. I have one more cabinet to go through. I have a box of pots and a box of dishes. I'm sure there's more that I could donate. I seem to always use the same pots all the time. I don't need all the ones I've collected over the years. Tomorrow I'll go through the linen closet to see what I can donate. I'm sure there are sheets and towels which I no longer use. I seem to use the same 2 sets of those over and over again as well. After the charity comes to pick up the things I'll be able to clean the kitchen and the hall floors. Right now I have boxes all over the place. The chaotic look of things is starting to bother me. I can't wait until everything is settled and everything has a place to be. There will be a place for everything and everything will be in it's place.

A Fulfilling Day
Today was a full day. It was also fulfilling. I had my hair colored. I went to a friend's home afterward and played Mah Jongg with my MJ group. I haven't played for months. I actually won 2 games. I got there at about 11:45am and left at 3:30pm. When I returned home, I ate some cantelope and spent time with my cats. When it was time to do so, I left for the PSM meeting. Going to that meeting is always very fulfilling. One of the gals gave me a medal which is of the patron saint for people with cancer. Another gal gave me a crucifix which if worn brings indulgences. Father was in the building and he came to bless all the medals. We showed him the lap blanket we made for one of the clergy. He liked it. At the Healing Mass on Thursday it will be blessed along with the pink shawl I knitted and a few other knitted items. I will do the readings at that mass. Father chose 2 short readings for the occasion which is good because the Daughters of Mary have a meeting after the mass is over. It would be a very late night for all the ladies who have to get up early and go to work the next day if something wasn't shorter. I'm really looking forward to that evening and to seeing the ladies again whom I haven't seen since last June.

Labor Day
Labor Day was a day without much labor which is how it's suppose to be. I met S. at Borders then we went to Chilli's for an early supper. We had a nice chat. I'm home now but am not movtivated to do a whole lot right now. Believe me, there is a lot that I could do. Maybe later!
Tomorrow I'm having my hair done and then I'm going to play MJ with my friends. I haven't played all summer. I will go to the PSM meeting afterwards. I have a bin of yarn to donate to the cause.
Actually, there's so much to do here that it's overwhelming which is why I can't get started doing anything.

Spectacular Sunday
Today is a spectacular Sunday. The weather is beautiful, a taste of Fall is in the air. It is sunny and there is a cool breeze.
I went to 8:30am mass this morning. It was a nice service. I enjoyed Father's homily. When I returned home, the Geek Squad arrived and set up my new printer. That took an hour to set up the table top and the pc. He did an excellent joy explaining every detail of the operation of both with me. I admired his knowledge. I'm technologically challenged. After eating a sandwich for lunch, I went through 2 of the boxes that I brought back from Mom's. I now have 1 whole plastic container of yarn to give to the PSM on Tuesday. I'm listening to music on the tv. I'm not sure how I'll spend the rest of the day. There is a lot of organizing of stuff to do so I'm ready for the charity pickup this week. I also have to find a home for the art materials I brought back from Mom's. In order to do that, the "all purpose" room needs to be reorganized. There's a lot of work to do. It's not going to get done overnight because I'm not as young as I use to be. After the above mention things are accomplished, I'll move some furniture, get rid of a bookcase and give some books to the library. Doing that will be a big project. I'm hoping that my sister will help me with that. We'll see. In the meantime I will enjoy this beautiful day, the quietness, and the fresh air coming in the doors.

Super Saturday
Today was a Super Saturday. I did a good deed for someone else.
A friend and I went to the movies afterward. We saw two "art" films. The first film we saw was in French and was titled, "Le Concert". It was excellent. After that movie we went next door for a slice of pizza and then returned to the theater to see the second film titiled, "Mao's Last Dancer". It also was an excellent film. I'd love to see them both again at home someday. Maybe they'll be out on DVD and I'll be able to purchase them for my DVD library. My friend suggested that we get an ice cream sundae after the second movie was over. We did do that. It was a perfect afternoon.
Tomorrow I'm having someone come over to set up my printer after I return from Church. After he leaves I can rearrange the computer/sewing/art room and move in the art supplies I've acquired from Mom. That act will eliminate some of the clutter in the LR. When I bring the yarn to the PSM meeting on Tuesday, I'll be getting rid of 3 other boxes. Oh, the room I'll have in the LR then. Little by little it will all get done. At the end of the week the charity is coming to pick up some things which will give me even more precious space in the kitchen and the bedroom. I'm getting my house back.

Fanastic Friday
We waited for the storm that didn't come. We didn't even get any rain today. The forecast for tomorrow is favorable. I'll spend the morning cleaning and in the early afternoon take the car for an oil change. Later in the day I may go to an "art" film at a nearby theater with a friend.
I've had a headache all day today. I think it's my sinuses which are causing the ache. I'll have to take another pain reliever shortly. I feel like doing something tonight, but I can't decide what I'd like to do. There are a number of craft activities to do. I don't know if there's anything worth watching on TV. Right now I'm doing my usual listening to music thing. If I don't find something interesting to do in the next hour and a half I'll just call it a day and retire for the evening. At least I'll be getting a good night's sleep.

Thoughtful Thursday
What did I accomplish today? Not as much as I would have liked to accomplish. I paid the bills, went to buy tomatoes from the local fruit stand, put the printer box into the appropriate room so that it can be set up on Sunday. Made a mental list of what I'm donating to the charity which is coming next week. Tomorrow I will put all that stuff together somewhere where I won't trip over it all. I'll be happy for the extra space. I tossed some stuff that isn't needed by Mom anymore. I can't wait until I find a place for what I've brought here from her home. E. said she'd help me unpack the boxes. As we go through them I can determine what I'll keep and what I can give away.
It was a rather quiet day here. I didn't even have music playing which was nice for a change. I made a plan for the arrangement of things in my living room, eventually. I can't wait until the plan comes together.

A Working Wednesday
E. and I left for Mom's at 5am this morning so we could avoid all the rush hour traffic going in that direction. The traffic was sort of light all the way. When we got down there we put out a lot of "bulk" stuff for pickup today by the sanitation dept. We feel like we accomplished a lot. Then we packed stuff in the car which we wanted to bring home. My house looks like I'm either moving in or getting ready to move out. There are boxes everywhere. Tomorrow E. will come over and help me to pack some things that I will give to charity next week. We will also unpack some of the boxes I've brought back here. ( I want my house back. ) Tonight I will spend some time paying the beginning of the month bills when that's done I will be relaxing from a busy working Wednesday.
