A Great Program

This afternoon I experienced a new language program on the computer. It was the Rosetta Stone for the French language. I started Level 1 today. I completed lesson one. That was a review. It took about one hour to do lesson one. Tomorrow I will do lesson two. That should also be a review for me. There are four lessons to do in Level 1. After that, it's on to Level 2. The time flew while I was doing the lesson. It was a lot of fun. The hardest part for me was the pronunciation of 'ecrit'. The program didn't like my pronunciation and I couldn't continue until I got it right. Some day, after I master the French language (finally), I'd like to purchase the Rosetta Stone for the Italian language. I think that it's a good way for me to learn languages. I can go at my own speed and I can repeat any lesson I need to repeat.
I also spent two sessions knitting today and will get in another session this evening.
A friend of mine called from Florida this afternoon. We had a nice chat. It's always good to hear from friends you don't get to spend time with often. I look forward to emails from friends also because that keeps me current on the news in everyone's life.
Well, I think I'll get back to the knitting.
