We 're getting closer to the warm weather promised this weekend. I heard one report that it will be in the 80's on Saturday and Sunday. We can finally turn off the heat.
Today went quickly. I did manage to get a lot of knitting done. I also washed a load of towels. Tomorrow I pack for my trip. I'll need to iron a bit before I pack. That almost seems to be a waste of time since the clothes will get wrinkled again in the suitcase. However, the wrinkles will be from folds in the clothing. Did I ever mention that I hate to iron? I'll need to stop at the store to pick up cat food and litter before the weekend. I'll do that early tomorrow morning. I also hope to be able to knit a few more inches tomorrow. I may even take the knitting with me to work on this weekend. Friday night would be a good time to do that since we'll have less time to set up our sewing machines and all the stuff required for quilting. I hope I finish the afghan this weekend.
