Writing
Did you ever feel like you wanted to write, but you had nothing to say? That's how I feel tonight. I want to write but have nothing to write about. I use to think that it was easier to write with pen and paper or pencil and paper. Since I've been writing this blog I've realized the pleasure of typing what you want to say on a computer. You don't have to erase mistakes, just back space or delete them. There is no crossing out when you change your mind. There are no arrows showing where you want to place a paragraph that was put in the wrong place before. If you forget how to spell a word, there's no need to reach for a dictionary or a Thesaurus, you just use spell check. I never would have believed that I would be a convert to the word processor way of writing. All through school a word processor wasn't a choice for me. I didn't have access to one during graduate school either. Now, however, I am a fan of typing what you have to say instead of getting writer's cramp from hand writing on a piece of paper. After years of writing, my handwriting has deteriorated. I was taught well by the nuns and did have a beautiful handwriting, but the only time I take the time to make it beautiful anymore is when I'm doing calligraphy. That isn't very often.
