Today and Yesterday

It was a spring day with spring weather today. That was a very welcome relief from colder weather. I opened the moon roof on my car and enjoyed the flow of fresh air into the car. I went to the 9am mass this morning. After mass I picked up D. and took him for a visit with Mom. I also went for a walk today. I walked to a local pharmacy and picked up some items and walked home again. I feel that I got my exercise for the day by doing that instead of driving the car to the store. Some morning when I'm sure it won't rain, I'll walk to the church to go to the morning mass, then I'll walk home again. Walking is something I need to do every day if the weather is fine.
Yesterday we played MJ at a friend's home. We played with new cards which we hadn't seen before. Most of our games were wall games. M. did manage to win two games. Later that evening I went to another friend's home where our small quilt group was meeting. I worked on the 2nd afghan instead of working on a quilt project. I was able to knit a couple of inches before it was time to go home. I'm hoping that it doesn't take quite as long to knit the second afghan as it did the first. I now am familiar with the pattern. I'd like to finish it by the end of April. The problem is that "life" gets in the way of knitting some days. If I just knitted all day, every day, I'd get it done in no time at all. However, that's not always possible.
