No Party Today

The St. Patrick's Day Party was cancelled today. The hosts had some bad news on Friday and decided that they didn't feel like celebrating. E. came over today with some of the party food. I made the ham and cabbage dish for supper which was part of the party menu. E. stayed for supper. She also brought over 2 of the desserts which we love but shouldn't eat. I may freeze one for future use. The economy is starting to effect people I know. It's scary. There isn't much job security out there in the private sector. I hope that this crisis ends soon and that things get turned around. I guess that if you still have a job you can call the economy to be in a recession. If you lose your job, as far as you know, it's a depression because there's no money coming in.
