Making Progress
This afternoon I was able to knit 4 more rows while the cats slept. They're awake now so I'm going to retire to the bedroom soon to knit some more. I'm hoping that they'll fall asleep on the bed again so they won't be tempted to play with the yarn. Each row takes about 11 minutes to finish. So I knitted for about 44 minutes. After four rows I seem to reach my saturation point and I need to take a break from the activity for a few minutes. By doing so I avoid making mistakes because my eyes are tired or because I'm getting "punchy". The afghan looks great. My labels arrived today. They look great also. I think that the afghan is reversible so it's not going to matter which side I place the label on. There is no right or wrong side. I've set a deadline for finishing the first afghan. It must be done by the end of this week because I want to get the second one started by next week. Can't wait to see how that one starts to unfold.
