Last Day of March

Today went as quickly as most week days do. I did go to mass this morning. I stayed at home for the rest of the day doing chores. There is less laundry to do now. I organized some of the magazines I've been saving. The quilt magazines are now in the sewing room and the writer's magazines are in the library. Ones which I have yet to read are in the wicker basket next to my chair in the bedroom. I got up at 5:30am which is about the normal hour for rising for the day when you have 2 cats. After lunch I started to get sleepy. I let myself have the luxury of a short nap. I made arrangements for someone to come over to fix a screen door for me. Tomorrow I'll go get the screening material so I'll be ready when he calls. I'm so happy that that will get done soon. E. brought something over for us to have for supper, so that was easy. I changed pocketbooks for the spring season, and will soon start putting some sweaters away for the season. Cardigans will be kept handy for when the weather is chilly. In a couple of weeks I'll start to get out some spring/summer slacks and clamdiggers. When that's done I'll be ready for hitting the links, or at least going to the driving range to hit balls. I look forward to a beautiful spring season.
