Attending Mass

This morning I attended 9 o'clock mass. After mass I went to the bank then returned home. Paying bills was on the agenda for me when I got back. Tomorrow I have to pick up my meds at the pharmacy. If I don't work I'll go to mass again. Prayer is healing. I feel that "It" will be ok when I'm there. I feel like my spirit is being salved when I'm in church. It's a refuge from the outside world and the pressures of everyday life. Although the weekday mass is only a half hour, it adds a lot to my day. I look forward to going there every morning and although I need work, I'm secretly relieved when I don't get any and can attend mass instead. I'll only let myself feel relieved about that for the next 2 weeks. After Easter I'll have to go to work so I'll be relieved if I find work at that time. Until then, I will go to mass every morning and pray.
