April Is Near

There are 2 weeks left in March. I'm looking forward to April. There are a few dates on my calendar of things which I look forward to doing. Easter is the 12th of April. I look forward to that also. If April showers come, I'll welcome them. The temperature should warm up a bit during that spring month. You know what they say, "April showers bring May flowers". I long to see spring flowers in bloom. To hear the birds sing outside my windows would please me very much. Fresh air wafting in the open doors will bring delight. Please, dear spring stay for awhile. Don't give way to summer heat before it's time. A few spring days for playing golf with friends will suit me better than too many hot days where I have to avoid the course. Here's to a long spring season with spring weather. May we all have time to enjoy it in all it's glory.
