A busy weekend is ahead. I'm bringing Mom to my home for the weekend. My brother and sister will come on Saturday for my birthday. I'm not cooking so we'd better get "take out".
Hopefully, I'll be able to quilt for a couple of hours sometime during the weekend. I'm going to be only one week away from giving the guilt as a gift. I do need to finish it. On Sunday I'm reading at the 10:30 am mass at my church. I'm hoping that I can get in a couple of hours of quilting on Sunday also. In any case, it will be a nice weekend. Mom is still good company and still has her sense of humor. We always find a lot to talk about. Having her here will mean a little less running around for me this weekend. After all, I'm no spring chicken either.
