We finished watching the "John Adams" dvds today. The story was very well done in movie form. My mother has decided that she'll borrow my book of the same name now that she can put a face with the characters. The book was very well written. I enjoyed it immensely. I have to return the dvd to the library on Monday. Then I have one week left to finish "My Antonia", by Will Cather. It is a library book selection for August.
The week went fast. I've had to cook for two and run errands for my mother. I'll be happy to return to a more normal week next week. The reason the week went fast is because I was so busy. Too busy for my liking. Tomorrow is a family birthday celebration here. I will read in church at the 8:30am mass before the guests arrive.

- Most people facinate me. I am a "people" person, although I am quiet and not the life of the party. My friends and my family mean a lot to me. I enjoy their company and would do almost anything for them. I like to watch the "Talking Heads" in the evening discussing politics or the news of the day. I am an avid quilter and belong to 2 quilt groups. I belong to a Mah Jongg group and am learning to play Bridge. I find that to be a real challenge. I love art and artistic things. I do a bit of painting, but am not very good at it. Piano music is one of my favorites. I play a bit and regret giving up lessons as a teen. Do still "tickle the ivories" upon occasion. Love to hear piano music in person. Love live classical music also. There are many things about life which I enjoy and like to share with like minded people.
