A Fall Quilt
Got a new quilting magazine today. Lots of pretty quilts inside. One appealed to me more than the others. It's for fall and has fall colors, like orange, in it. It doesn't look like it's too difficult for me. The name of the quilt is "Golden Autumn". The skill level is intermediate which is about where I am in my quest for perfection. The good thing about this fall quilt is that it can be put on display during the entire fall season. It's not specifically for Halloween or Thanksgiving. Basically, it's the coloring which indicates a fall theme. I have alot of coals in the fire when it comes to making quilts, so I won't be making this one soon. I will keep it in mind for the future. It may even be a good idea to look for fabrics now that the fall season is approaching. I would make it a wall hanging size instead of a bed size. All I need is a blank wall to hang it and the others on. I always thought it would be nice to change the quilted wall hanging for each season. That's a long way off because I'd need to make at least 4 quilts to get started.
