Baby Quilt

There will be a baby shower for the daughter of a friend of mine in a few weeks. I decided to make a baby quilt for the new baby. I know it's going to be a girl so I chose something appropriate for her. I pieced the top together today. Tomorrow I'll pin the 3 layers together and when I return from the shore, I'll start to machine quilt the baby quilt. I practiced the stitches I want to use on a scrap piece of material today. I hope that the quilt turns out as I have planned. It's pink and lime green. The baby's room is in browns, greens and girly pinks. I hope that the mother of the baby is pleased with the way the quilt turns out.
