Three Steps Left

The batting and the backing have been cut. The top has been ironed. What's left to do? The three layers have to be pinned together. Then the quilting starts. After the quilting is done the binding is added and the Lap Quilt is complete. I'm considering calling the shop I frequent to see if I can use their large table to stretch the backing out, and put on the batting and the top. It will be much easier to pin and then quilt if it's done without wrinkles. It's also easier to use a large table rather than to crawl around on the floor trying to pin the layers together. I'm anxious to get going.
