Raise Your Blood Pressure

Watching the Lou Dobbs show on CNN in the evening is sure to raise your blood pressure. He reports on things which are happening in our country which seem to be outrageous. Lou is an Independent and reports as such. I like to watch his show to get a different perspective on things. His coverage is not only about the Presidential Race and the candidates. He focuses on other news as well. He reports on news items which no one else seems to cover. Things which make you mad because they are unfair or stupid. He called our congress a "do nothing " congress. I tend to agree with that. If it were possible to be an Independent and still vote in the primary in my state, I think I'd declare myself as such. Unfortunately, that's not the case. If you want to have a say in who the candidates will be you have to be a registered Democrat or a registered Republican. Some people say we need a third party. I say, why bother if it's only going to be more of the same.
