Quilt In Progress

All that's left to do to finish the front of the quilt I'm making is to put the 2 borders on the front. I will do that tomorrow. I also need to iron the entire piece when I'm finished. Then I can cut the batting and the backing and put the 3 layers together and pin them. That will take another day. Marking the quilt for quilting will come next. Since I haven't machine quilted a quilt this size I have no idea how long that will actually take. If it goes well with no problems, I can work on it in an afternoon or during a morning. It will be necessary to take breaks because my neck and back will get tired of the 'sewing' posture. When the quilting is finished, the binding goes on and Voila, the quilt is done.
