A Lovely Day
What a beautiful day today! The weather is mild, in the 70's I'd say and the sun is shining. I finished the laundry and cut most of the fabric for the quilt. I just have the border fabric to cut and then I'll start sewing. In the middle of my cutting Sandy came to join me. He spread out in the middle of the table and it was a real challenge to finish cutting what needed to be cut. I'm waiting for my birthday present to be delivered. It may come any day now. My mother is sending me a golf cart to carry my clubs when I walk and play golf. I'm anxious to receive it as I have an invitation to play on Monday. I won't carry those clubs without the cart. Too Heavy! I will prepare the area I use for sewing so that if the mood strikes me later, I will start sewing. The hardest part of quilting for me is the cutting of fabric. If you don't do it correctly it's possible that you won't have enough fabric to finish the project. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all went well with the measuring and the cutting. We'll soon see.
