The Cat's Back

Earlier this evening a fast wind picked up outside. I thought it would rain, but it didn't. I decided to shut off the ceiling fan because I expected it to get cooler. I went into the bedroom and picked Sandy up from my bed and brought him out to the LR. He carefully looked in the direction of the fan. Since it had stopped completely he decided to stay in the LR with me. So, he's had a reprieve, but unfortunately that won't last because when I close up the house for the evening I'll need the fan on again. He'll run as fast as his little legs will carry him to what he considers to be a safe distance from the menacing wind kicking up in the DR. I may not see him for the rest of the night.
