Tough Times

They stated on the news that we are in "Tough Times" today. Gas has reached $4. a gallon in Long Island. It's not far from it here in NJ. Many people are having their cars repossesed. Some people are facing foreclosure on their homes. I don't remember the economy being so bleak for so many people before. I wonder what it will take to turn things around? Maybe , as suggested by someone, we should have a day each week when no one buys any gasoline. I'm not sure just what that would accomplish. But, I guess it's something. Whatever it takes I hope that someone in the know comes up with something that works.
