New Hairdo

Everything old is new again. Yes, hairdoes from the 60's are back again. I'm now sporting a "new" bob. In the late 1960's I also wore this hair style. The flip which we wore in the mid 60's was resurrected a few years ago. The difference for me between today's bob and "yesterday's" bob is that today's is much shorter than I use to wear it. It seemed to be a good decision to change my shorter hairdo after wearing it that way for 5 years or so. In this case, change is good. Change which is always different is not always good. I'll hear comments on my new "do", hopefully in favor of it, when I see my friends again.

Finally...someone else who is wearing an updated flip. I've always loved this style because it is so flattering on most faces. I don't tease the crown so I don't look too old,(I'm 50 with salt and pepper hair), but I do roller it to achieve the bouncy, shiny flip. I'll blow dry the ends with a large roller brush for touch ups. Screw what the fashion "experts" have to say. If you like the style and you think it looks pretty on you, then wear it! Be yourself! You don't have to look like everybody else. How boring is that!
