Kentucky Derby

Watched the Kentucky Derby today. The horse that won was very impressive. What was disappointing was to hear that they had to put the horse that came in second to sleep. Apparently she broke both of her front ankles. Too bad there isn't a way to save a beautiful animal when something like that happens. How sad. Didn't tune in early enough to see all the people in their finest apparel and the ladies in their big hats. That's usually quite a lot of fun to see.
