Today was an ordinary, uneventful day. Mom came up at noon and will stay through Mother's Day. I fed her lunch and we chatted. She took a nap. I fed her supper and we chatted. Now she's watching the pundits discuss the political scene. I picked up a New York Times and a Star Ledger for her to read. She's all set for the evening.
I've done some laundry and hope to do one more load before the day is over. Haven't decided how I'll spend the rest of the evening myself. The day flew, as it does whether you're having fun or not. Unless I fall asleep first, I'll report on my evening before I retire for the night.
