Pope Benedict XVI

How I wish I could be in the crowd to see the Holy Father. I'll be in NYC tomorrow to go to The Metropolitan Museum of Art. I'm sure the traffic snarl will be worse than usual. How happy I'd be if our bus could pass by St. Patrick's Cathedral and catch a glimpse of the Pope. I know that that is very unlikely, but it would be a highlight of my life. I've never been to Rome, or Italy, for that matter. I hope that I do get to do that some day. Wouldn't it be great to have an audience with the Pope? That seems to be reserved for famous people and dignitaries of the world. If I were so lucky as to be in the Pope's presence I'd probably be so moved that I'd cry. Something I don't do easily or often. I am enjoying watching his visit on the television. God Bless Him and keep him safe.
