An Interrupted Sleep

Well, it's 12:52am. I don't know if I'm starting my day or still ending it. Yes, Sandy's been at it again. I went to bed at 9:00pm and have just been awakened by my SDT cat. The routine is that I'll be wide awake for an hour or so and hopefully will be able to resume my repose in the recliner. It's hard not to get up from bed when you have a 25lb. cat walking on top of you. At least he didn't jump on me, get off, and jump on me again. That rattles your bones and you wonder if it's caused bruising. He's behind me looking out the window right now. I guess he gets lonely when he awakens from his "cat nap". When he's finished surveying the situation outside the window, he'll jump on the chair next to me and take another "cat nap". That'll be my signal that it's okay to go to sleep again. Who's in charge here, I often wonder? When it comes to the middle of the night, I think I know the answer.
