A Gorgeous Day!

It couldn't be a more gorgeous day! The sun is shining, the temps are warm and there is a little breeze. As I look out my window I can see the flowering trees which line the parking lot. There are pretty pink ones and several white flowering trees. It's hard to pick a favorite. I notice that there are a few yellow jackets flying around the bushes near my front door. They don't seem to light anywhere. I can't help but wonder what the attraction to that spot is for them. Both doors are opened, needless to say. It's quiet and peaceful outside. This morning I heard the birds singing, but I can't hear them any longer. They flit from the bushes to the small birdhouse which hangs above my patio. They are tiny, cute, chicadees. How fortunate I am to live in the North East where the seasons change. How boring it must be to never experience spring coming into bloom.
