A Different Way To Get Your Politics

I started my day watching "Morning Joe" with Joe Scarborough. My mother turned me on to this morning tv show. The "Today" show has gotten sort of boring. It's more entertainment than anything else. I'm in the mood for something different while I greet the day with my own cup of Joe.
I'm ending my day watching "The Colbert Report". I'm new to this show and I find it amusing. I caught a glimpse of "The John Stewart Show" which my sister watches frequently, but I always forget to turn it on. These shows are certainly a "different" way to get your politics. I find myself laughing instead of "steaming" which occurs often when watching some of the evening pundits. I'm more tuned into the politics of our country than I use to be when I was younger. I'm not quite sure just why that is? Maybe it's true that when you get older you get wiser. Maybe you worry more when you get older. I do find myself worrying about this country now. I've lost confidence in our leaders, both Republicans and Democrats. I pray that we elect the correct person as our next president. By that I mean, someone who will solve our country's problems; Someone who will bring back dignity and respect to the presidency; someone who cares about the "people" who elected them. I don't know who you are or who you'll be, but please out do yourself. Make us proud !
