Beauty All Around

As I looked out the sliding doors today, I noticed the beauty of the flowering trees and the lush green lawn. The forsythia are in full color also. It looks so pretty outside especially after a bleak, dull winter. The pink flowering tree in the front is stretching one of its limbs across the path. It's lower than it was last year. I find it necessary to duck my head when I pass. The irises are making progress in their growth and the green and white leaves are framing the sidewalk. The spring colors are beautiful. I always thought that my favorite season was fall, but I'm in love with this spring, more so than I have been with any other spring. Actually, spring rain is not that bad. It puts a damper (no pun intended) on one's outside plans, but it brings the May flowers. I'm looking forward to that "lusty" month of May. This Thursday will see its debut.
