Waiting For Mail
Most of my email comes over night in the form of spam. That's very discouraging. I spend the first few minutes on the computer deleting that spam. I know that people are busy, but I'd like to receive more email and less "cutsie" stuff which has been around the world two or three times already. There are exceptions to this, however. For instance, I'm keen on "Maxine". I'd like to receive a friendly note telling me what a friend has been up to since I last heard from him. I'd also like to eliminate all spam. I don't use the phone that much anymore when contacting friends, but rely on email to keep up communication. Phone calls can be an intrusion. Email can be read and sent at your convenience. Many people who work check their personal email in the evening before they retire for the night. I guess I'm often disappointed in not receiving mail because I check mine all day long.
