Beautiful Gardens

Our visit to the Greenhouses was wonderful. My favorite display was the Italian Greenhouse. It seemed to be the largest and contained an assortment of a wide variety of orchids. They were all beautiful. The topiaries in the French and English gardens were lovely also. Many of the flowers in these greenhouses were familiar to me. There were tulips, hyacinths, St. Joseph Lilies and daffodils in the French greenhouse. The English greenhouse also contained a variety of recognizable flowers. Hopefully, next fall, my friend and I will be able to take the orchid class where we will learn all about the different variety of orchids. The highlight of that class will be taking home an orchid of our own.
