Where's The January Thaw?

We haven't had much snow this month, but it's been extremely cold. I'm hoping for a relief from all the arctic blasts we've been experiencing. January and February are the two hardest months to get through because of the bitter cold that comes. I'm glad I don't live further north where it's much colder. I wish we could have an early spring this year. I don't seem to adapt to the cold as well as I use to. There hasn't been any snow to shovel so I'm thankful for that. I'm ready for flowering trees, and the warmth of the spring.
