Keeping an Open Calendar
My calendar has been filled most of April and most of this May. I have very few commitments in June except for a couple of doctor appointments and my mother's birthday. I'm going to try to keep an open calendar so I have time for my hobbies. I need to have time to sew since I'm working on 2 quilts. I also need time to finish painting my pink rose. Those type of activities require having whole days "free". I may go to the shore to visit with Mom a few days before her birthday and of course take my brother with me. Hope we have good weather for those days. I told Mom that I'll make some jewelry with her since she has all the items she needs and just needs company to get her started. It's more fun to share a new hobby with someone. We'll visit the ocean and I may talk Mom into sitting on the boardwalk with her sketch pad while Dan and I walk the boards. I'm doing "fun" things, but I like to see empty blocks on my calendar sometimes because even being busy doing fun things can be exhausting. I hate feeling exhausted! So, here's to an open calendar for June.
