God Bless America

At the end of mass today we sang God Bless America. It was very fitting since this is Memorial Day Weekend. After singing, everyone clapped! It was awesome! There were red, white and blue flowers on the altars. It was quite beautiful. I pray that we can have a return to world peace; That our sons and daughters, fathers and mothers don't have to fight any more wars. That may not be realistic in today's world, but it's an ideal I wish we could strive for. Let there be peace on earth.
