Getting to Know Someone, Slowly

I've met someone through an internet dating service. We have emailed each other a few times. We haven't met in person yet. That may be in the distant future because our emails are not sent daily. I'd like to know some things about him before we decide to meet. He is working, not retired like I am now. When one works full time, taking time for extra-curricular activities like emailing isn't as easy during the work week as it is for me. I'd like my new pen pal to write more often. I'm learning patience from my computer.
