Dinner With Friends

A good friend of mine invited me and another couple for dinner at her home with her and her husband. What impressed me was that it was a spur of the moment thing. My friend served spaghetti and meatballs which was delicious. To be able to invite friends over on the spur of the moment is not always easy. Besides having to plan a meal, you want your home to be in good order too. I try to keep things in good order, but I sometimes have "stuff" around from hobbies and wouldn't want to have anyone visit at those times. My friends wouldn't mind as much as I would I'm sure. I admire someone whose home is always perfect and a show place. Wish mine were but I have too many hobbies and interests.
