Waiting for an email

I joined a dating service. My membership is almost up. I was matched with someone and have been emailing back and forth. My email was the last one sent and I'm waiting for a response. How long should you wait for an answer to an email in a situation like this? If you're trying to get to know someone I'd think that the emails would be more frequent. If they're not, I'd suspect lack of interest. Close me out if that's the situation!! Time's a wasting!
