Winning at Mah Jongg Is Exhilarating

We played Mah Jongg today. I won the last game we played. That made up for the "almost" wins I had when someone else yelled "Mah Jongg". I love playing the game. Love the people I play with but don't love the frustration of coming close but not being the lucky winner. Winning is exhilarating and I look forward to our next day of play. Here's hoping I get plenty of Jokers!

First Significant Snowfall

We had over first significant snowfall over night. It only snowed about 3 inches, but the below freezing temperature kept the ground covered with the "white stuff" all day. It is very beautiful and since it was only 3 inches, it wasn't a problem to drive in. We're expecting more snow Thursday night into Friday. Not ready for more than 3 inches yet. There's no need to shovel when it's that little. I remember the great snowfall amounts we had when we were kids. It made for great sledding and snowmen, snowball fights and snow angels. I wonder if any kids went outside to try those things today?

Temperatures are Frigid in the North East!

Today's temperature is the lowest it's been in NJ in 2 years. I remember cold temps when I was a kid, but they were easier to take. After going out for the paper today, I've decided to spend the rest of the day inside. Friends have invited me to dinner and a movie tonight. I will walk from the house to the car. Quickly, I'll walk from the car to the restaurant and the theater.
Looking forward to Saturday when our temps will be in the 30's. Keep Warm!

Mission Accomplished!!

Today's mission has been accomplished. We now have a picture. I'm sure that tomorrow will bring more challenges.

Mystery Solved!

My friends and I have all learned how to access this blog site. See, practice does make perfect.
Now I have to learn how to add pictures. That's the next project. We'll see how long that takes.
Afterall, A picture speaks a thousand words.

Learning To Be A Blogger Is Not So Easy!

Learning to be a blogger has not been an easy task. First of all, it takes me forever to find my own site. I only accomplish this after trying several times. Hopefully, it will become easier with practice.
I've notified friends of my site. They can't find it either. Apparently, I chose a name for my site which is well used. I should have been more clever. This is the first blog I'm writing after writing my profile. Maybe that will make a difference?? I guess it's obvious that I'm not very computer savvy.
Oh, well. we'll see what happens now. Have a great evening fellow bloggers.
